We would like to invite you to a festive event on Friday 26 November 2021 in the Augustijnenkerk Dordrecht. On this day we are proud to open City Campus Dordrecht: academic education in the city of Dordrecht! The celebration will be dominated by the opening of the academic year and Dordrecht 800 years of city.
What is City Campus Dordrecht?
City Campus Dordrecht encompasses the historic city center of Dordrecht. The main building is the beautiful monumental building ‘Wereldwaag’ on Scheffersplein. From this great location, academic education will have a place in the city. Accredited educational institution Netherlands Business Academy will provide academic education here with a variety of Master courses, Masterclasses and international projects. With Dordrecht as the main location, City Campus will occupy an important place in international education within and outside Europe. To this end, we work together with various partner universities and are part of or project leader of various EU projects. In addition, we are also active on the Dutch market with various Master’s programs for working professionals. Grand opening
After the festivities have been postponed due to the COVID-19 measures, it will still happen: the festive opening on November 26, 2021 in the Augustijnenkerk. On this day we not only celebrate the opening of the academic year, but also the official opening of City Campus Dordrecht and ‘Dordrecht 800 years of city’. A wonderful combination of festivities to which we cordially invite you!
Program
The festivities will start with the arrival of a cortège of, among others, (Dordtse) professors. After the entrance of the cortège, several inspiring speakers will follow, including the mayor of Dordrecht and renowned professor Martin van Gelderen of the University of Göttingen. The program is as follows:
14:15 – 14:30 Opening doors Augustijnenkerk
14:45 – 15:00 Arrival cortège
15:00 – 16:10 Start festive opening
16:15 – 16:30 Closing
16:30 – 17:30 Drinks invited guests

The festive opening is freely accessible to everyone. Nevertheless, in connection with the number of seats, we would like to ask you to fill in the registration form or to send us your registration via info@citycampusdordrecht.com . You are free to enter an unlimited number of guests, the more souls the merrier.
